PureVR requires proof of identity and age, together with documented consent, from every performer appearing in content before that content is published. This procedure works alongside our 18 U.S.C. §2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement.
Before any content is accepted for publication, each performer depicted must provide a current, government-issued photo identification document confirming that they were at least 18 years of age at the time the content was created. The identification is checked against the performer's stated details and appearance, and a copy is retained together with the associated content records by our designated Custodian of Records.
Alongside identification, each performer must sign a model release and consent form confirming that they voluntarily participated in the production of the content, understood how the content would be used and distributed, and agreed to its publication. Consent is obtained in writing prior to publication and is kept on file for as long as the content remains available and for any additional period required by applicable record-keeping laws.
A performer may withdraw their consent at any time. Upon receiving a verified request from the performer depicted, we will promptly remove the relevant content in accordance with our Content Removal procedure.
Content submitted through our Content Partner Program is subject to the same identification and consent requirements. Partners must confirm and warrant, and where requested provide evidence, that all required identification and consent records have been obtained for every performer before content is submitted.
